I have a child with autism and familiar with needs as they get older - as a realtor, I'm now trying to find a way to advertize a home that would be ideal for a family needing "quarters" for their older child or a live-in caretaker. House is in Lake Highlands and attached apt. has it's own security, entry, kitchen, fireplace, etc. I truly think it would help someone out there in the autism community. thanks so much. My brother is 49 yrs old. He left my parents' home about 11 yrs ago and resisted all offers & efforts to help him. he became homeless and ended up in the hospital last month. He is home now and we are looking for any and all resources to help diagnose and treat him. He displays many AS symptoms but was never diagnosed as a child in spite of all my parents' efforts to find a cause for his behavioral problems. Most of what I see in this and other sites is geared to children or young adults. What resources are available for adults? Thank you for any help or information. Submitted By: Gabriela
